About Sheep's Head Walks
My name is Tony Cumberpatch and I'm originally from the UK of Irish/English descent. In the late 1990's I decided to leave the UK for a better quality of life and after much searching, I was blessed to discover the beauty and tranquility of West Cork, and in particular the almost undisturbed treasure of The Sheep's Head Peninsula. I have now lived here for over eighteen years and have never felt so fulfilled in mind, body and spirit.
Here I can indulge in my personal passions; the great outdoors, human history, archaeology, hiking, travel and music. Over the years I have developed a deep love and respect for this area; its people, wilderness, spirituality, ancient history and traditions. For my money, there is no better place on earth.
Whilst roaming the local hills in wonderment and discovery, it occurred to me that it would be a fine thing to share this place with anyone else who felt drawn here. I decided to set up Sheep's Head Walks with a selection of my favourite walking routes to cover most ages, fitness levels and areas of interest.
I invite you to come here, walk with me and experience the magic of the amazing Sheep's Head Peninsula for yourself...
